Social Media Marketing Map

You can see from this Social Media Marketing Map how all the pieces of the jigsaw can be put together to make a very clear picture of exactly how to do it the right way.
I must thank my mentor Dean Holland for passing on to me the source of this great information.
The information came from a video by master internet marketer Perry Belcher.

Mate i’m looking for something to put on my blog, got any ideas?
Hi Adrian,
Thanks so much for your very kind remarks about my blogsite!
Glad you liked the videos.
What to put on your blog?
Please take the Social Media Marketing Map if you want and add it to your Perry Belcher video or make a new post about it.
It contains every detail of Perry’s video and helps convey the overall plan in a way which is easy to remember!
You can just put a little line saying you got it from JonneyJay.com if you want to.
Put more stuff and tools about listbuilding.
For example I will try to get a brandable version of my YouTube for all our team to give away soon.
Wishing you every success,
Jonney

Hi Jonney,
Your social media map seems to be very one way! Seems to be all about you funnelling people where you want them to go? Please forgive me if I am mistaken.
Shouldn’t there be a two way flow illustrated?. What can you do for others, such as advocate them, help them build their numbers, etc? Where are the conversations on your blog that help build the relationships? (It’s clear that you engage with your followers, so shouldn’t that be shown on your map?).
Using social media for “traditional” marketing kind of misses the point IMHO. Social media should be used to build relationships first – support before selling. If the person gets to know you and likes you, and there has been some form of reciprocity or two way engagement and value given, then they might buy something from you, or advocate you within their own networks.
Social media is not a one way marketing or “transmitting” channel and will not be very successful if used in that format IMHO. It’s about listening as well as speaking.
Hi Vanessa,
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and especially for your great comments!
Well spotted and you are right in what you say in regard to what is shown on the diagram.
However in it’s defense, it is a representation of Perry Belcher’s own diagram and system as taught in his video, you are right in that it should also show the resultant interaction with the audience. Perry does actually make that very clear if you get time to watch his video.
In fact I agree with everything you have said and indeed follow exactly what you are advising.
It is most interesting to get your comments because this interactive aspect is not shown on the Map.
OK Here’s what I need to do. . . . I think I will make an additional Map and add it to the post to show the resulting interactions,
Please give me a little time to do that as I am very busy with my music project I have committed to releasing on the 11th.
Your site also looks very interesting and I will have a closer look as soon as I can.
Wishing you every success,
Jonney
PS As you can see Vanessa, I do try to interact by replying to the posts, even when they are a little challenging!
It’s good that you are keeping me on my toes!
Hi Jonney,
Thanks for the reply. I know you interact with people, no question of that!
I look forward to seeing your revised map. Please feel free to post it on our http://www.socialmediatribes.co.uk forum for our members.
Good luck with your music project.
V.
This map is only missing one thing. The new social network Knoyce. Go to http://www.knoyce.com or for iphone or ipod go to http://www.knoyce.com/m
This is great! I love the visual plan – it keeps things simple.
Thanks for sharing, and being an inspiration to us newbie online marketers
Hi Josh,
I had a look at your site and wish you good luck with it.
I like your iphone and ipod capability.
Let’s hope you make your site a major destination in the near future!
For example you could concentrate on a group of related parties such as our whole group to help get you established.
Start at DeanHolland.com and look for the links to everyone in our powerful group of about 50.
Then you could go to other related powerful groups which we belong to such as everyone at Alex Jeffrey’s groups.
Leverage is the key.
I hope this help you.
Wishing you every success,
Jonney
Hi Julie,
Thanks for your great comments.
I really appreciate your heartfelt compliments.
You have also inspired me to now do even more to help everyone.
Although I have not put up any posts for a couple of weeks, I have in fact been very busy with more new stuff.
Much more coming soon!
Wishing you every success,
Jonney
